Finiteck ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal money-saving assistant designed with privacy as a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
The short version: Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal or financial information to any server.
Data We Collect
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Finiteck stores the following information exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- Expense entries you create (names, amounts, categories, frequencies)
- AI-generated savings suggestions
- Your profile preferences (household size, country, currency, savings goals)
- Onboarding completion status
This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, access, or store:
- Bank account information or credentials
- Credit card numbers or payment details
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavior data
- Contacts, photos, or other personal files
No Third-Party Services
Finiteck does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Specifically:
- No Google Analytics
- No Facebook SDK
- No advertising networks
- No crash reporting services that collect personal data
Payments and Subscriptions
Finiteck offers subscription-based access through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit.
We do not have access to:
- Your payment method details
- Your Apple ID
- Your purchase history outside of subscription status

Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone because we do not have access to it. Your financial information exists only on your device.
Data Security
Your data is protected by:
- Apple's device-level encryption
- iOS sandboxing (data is inaccessible to other apps)
- Your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID
We recommend keeping your iOS device updated and using a strong passcode.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right to Access: All your data is visible within the app at any time.
- Right to Rectification: You can edit any expense or profile information directly in the app.
- Right to Erasure: You can delete individual items or reset all data from the Profile screen. Alternatively, uninstalling the app removes all data permanently.
- Right to Data Portability: You can export your data as a file using the Export feature in the Profile screen.
Because we do not store your data on any server, there is no data for us to access, modify, or delete on your behalf.
Children's Privacy
Finiteck is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally and we have no data collection mechanisms, there is no children's data to protect on our end.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
